Bio:
With over 15 years experience in internet development and architecture, Hendrik experienced both the joy of programming and the complexity of managing and administering a Software Factory with multiple developers, testers and business analysts.
As a clinical psychologist, Hendrik has broad experience in bridging the gap between the technical possibilities of a web platform, and the needs of end user(s). He is trained in translating the functional requirements of an organisation into a working web application, while constantly monitoring planning, quality and available budget.
After a period of fieldwork as a freelancer, Hendrik helped found a number of companies broadly active on the internet, with a special focus on, on the one hand, e-HR applications (e.g. for De Post and Bekaert) and automotive applications on the other hand (such as for Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep and Mercedes).
Hendrik’s focus is on agile project management through the Scrum methodology, which makes it possible to provide a customer with the best possible economic and functional solution within the available budget, and on managing XIO as a successful SME in full growth.
