Join the Apps 4 Europe competition!

Do you have a digital solution that uses open data? Or do you want to start a business based on open data? Do you want to expand your network and meet other devs and investors? Then head over to Drupalcamp Ghent on November 8th!

Apps 4 Europe is organising a “business lounge” side-event and is looking for good ideas and potential candidates to participate in the International Apps 4 Europe competition.

Apps 4 Europe is a network of organisations that want to promote the use of open data in applications and businesses in Europe. That’s why we are setting up local business lounges to connect developers with investors and experts in the field. One of these business lounges will be taking place during Drupalcamp Ghent, and we would love you to join. You’ll get the chance to work on your idea and refine your business plan under professional guidance.

The afternoon session will take place in room GSCH.B.1.013 (1st floor of the B-building) and start at 14:00. Participants will be able to:

• Connect with each other and experienced entrepreneurs
• Get a quick introduction to “elevator pitches”
• Work on their business plans and pitches under professional guidance
• Pitch to each other and get constructive feedback
• Get more information and prepare for the international Apps 4 Europe competition.
